23 Mar Mining Indaba Investment Battlefield to recommence with battery metals round
The latest instalment of Investing in African Mining Indaba’s popular competition for junior African mining companies will resume this week, with two battery and energy metals-focused heats.
The Investment Battlefield is being held in the lead up to Mining Indaba’s Virtual Investment Programme on March 30-31. The event will comprise of optimised investment meetings for the global mining finance community and junior to mid-tier mining companies.
The two victors from the precious metals heats – Antler Gold and Cora Gold – have already confirmed their places in the final on March 31, which will be streamed live exclusively to participants of the programme.
Joining them in the final will be one of Ironridge Resources, Marenica Energy, Be Metals (taking part in the battery and energy materials exploration round) and one of Premier African Minerals and Gratomic (competing in the battery and energy materials development round).
The judges panel includes representatives from Pangea Resources, Terea Africa, AMED, The Noble Group, Standard Chartered Bank and OAO Investments.
The exploration round is taking place on Tuesday March 23 at 14:00 (GMT), while the development round will commence at 14:00 (GMT) on Thursday March 25.
