American Lithium ranked best performing miner on 2021 TSXV 50

American Lithium Corp has been classified as the best performing listed mining company on the TSXV, upon the release of the 2021 TSX Venture 50.

The TSX Venture 50 is an annual ranking of the top performing companies on Toronto’s junior market, drawn from five sectors: clean technology and life sciences, diversified industries, energy, mining, and technology.

“We are very pleased to be recognised in the 2021 TSX Venture 50,” said the firm’s CEO Michael Kobler. “The past year has seen American Lithium reach new highs as we continue to forge ahead on our large-scale TLC Lithium Project in Nevada.”

American Lithium holds over 4,000 acres of tenements at the TLC project, which is one of the most promising and underdeveloped lithium sedimentary basins in North America, according to the company. It also noted that the project is within a four-hour drive to Tesla’s Nevada Gigafactory.

“Now that we have agreed to acquire Plateau Energy Metals to create a leading diversified lithium development company, I would also like to take this opportunity…to thank our team at American Lithium for their hard work and to our shareholders for their support along the way,” Kobler added.

In a LinkedIn post, TSX head of business development, global mining Dean McPherson congratulated Kobler and the American Lithium team for leading the mining sector on the TSX Venture 2050. He added: “Lithium is now being recognised in the US as a critical mineral, along with the EV Revolution.”
